This could go under the Evidence category, just as well as “What to Do.” The importance of doing this correctly and safely, places it on this page.
Eliot Ness has asked, “What do we do if we find a Bigfoot already dead, or if we kill one in self defense?
Eliot will be visiting quarterly to search the surroundings of my homestead for evidence, so this is fresh on his mind, especially since most who find a body leave the experience without even taking pictures of it. Nothing!
Eliot e-mailed Cliff Barackman through CliffBarackman.com, and Cliff gave some good advice based on the book by Grover Krantz.
First, try to remove the head. Wyman says this would weigh about 100 pounds, so you will need help.
Second, try the feet.
Third, try the hands.
Fourth, then everything else is equal.
Fifth, get out of there!
Sixth, cut off a finger to keep for yourself, so that you can prove the find was yours.
Seventh, contact him at the North American Bigfoot Museum, in Boring, Oregon and he will help get the evidence to a trusted media source or university.
Eighth, the Oregon Bigfoot Museum is just getting started and as of yet, has no phone number, so contact Dr. D. Jeff Meldrum, Idaho State University.

Eliot, is wondering if bringing a tarp to cover the body is a potential good idea. Put it over the corpse, and then cover the tarp with rocks, grass, leaves, sticks, and branches, and then spray it with bear spray so it has no Bigfoot scent. Then, go for help.
This will be a work in progress, as we are just looking for the best way to get help to those in this situation.

(Paraphrasing) Kill it! We need a body that desperately. He said this, wishing that he didn’t have to say it. “Unless, it is on your property,” he continued. If you kill it on your property, then you will have to answer for it, as the revenge of the other Bigfoot will be against you.
