Is keeping HIS Law, about Love?
When our Saviour was asked, in Matthew 22:36, “Master which is the greatest Commandment in the law.,” He quoted Deuteronomy 6:5, “And Thou shalt Love the LORD thy GOD with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. ”
(Ref. Matthew 22:37).
We are commanded to love our GOD.
Now, when I go to John 14:15, I see, “If you love Me, keep/obey the commandments. “.
Does this really say, If you love me, prove it, by keeping the Commandments.
Plus I see this, in John 14:21, “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me: and he that loveth Me, shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him ..”
Love, Love, Love,…keeping THE LAWS of our GOD, is about expressing our love for HIM,… to HIM.!
Obeying our GOD, is not legalism, as I have been told…but not keeping HIS Laws, is illegal, it is sinful.
1John 3:4, “Whosoever committeth sin, transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.”

Most people fail to realize, that how much our GOD Loves us. Yes, HE really does care for each of us, so much that when we do sin, “I believe that it does hurt HIM,” in some manner, especially, if we are close to Him, and try to walk as Yeshua walked, keeping the Commandments.
Yes, our GOD loves us, so much, that HE sent His Only Son, “Yeshua, the Holy Messiah,” to be our Saviour, (who come here, to be a living example, ref. John 6:38, and for us to follow in His steps. ref. 1 Peter 2:21)
Yes, GOD Almighty, has hope, that we will succeed, and make it into heaven, to be with HIM, (considering how those people whom HE created, before the Flood of Noah, fail and became corrupted).

KEEPING HIS LAWS
Jesus states in Matthew 7:21, “Not every one that saith unto Me, LORD, LORD, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.”
Yes, we need to be doing the will of GOD, “His Father, which is in heaven”, according to Yeshua our Messiah, just as Jesus, instructed us.
Matthew 7:22, “Many will say to Me in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in they name? and in thy name have cast out devils(demons)? and in thy name done many wonderful works”?
Matthew 7:23, “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.
Iniquity = lawlessness, non Torah observant.
Note: in 7:22, these people who our Saviour is refiring to, are not your everyday “Joe Believer,” no, these are leadership, who are not obey the Fathers laws, but maybe their own laws, man made laws, “the tradition of men”.?
When the LORD placed a week long conviction upon me,… to keep HIS Special 7th Day Sabbath of Rest,…. I had a very difficult time trying to share this Biblical Truth, with other, somewhat RELUCTANT Sunday Keeping Believers, as I once was.
I heard every excuse there is, for not keeping HIS Holy 7th Day, many – many times over. It took me close to 18 years, before I realize the only answer, it’s that our GOD, our Holy Creator, is only resting on “One Day”, HIS Special 7th Day of Sabbath Rest – He is not resting on Sunday, Monday, nor Tuesday, ONLY Saturday, the 7th day, the last day of our week.
If we choose to keep Sunday, we sin against Him, by ignoring to keep HIS 4th Commandment.
We all seem to believe that we should not KILL, we should not STEAL, nor LIE, nor COMMIT ADULTERY, but it seems – when it comes to HIS 4th Command, we simply seem to ignore His Words, thus, we willfully sin against Him.
When I was in my early teens, I asked the Pastor of our country church, why do we keep Sunday, instead of Saturday. He replied, because Jesus arose from the dead on Sunday, thus we keep Sunday to honor Jesus.
Well, that satisfied me as a child,… but later in my life, as a learned adult, I reasoned that Jesus Himself, WOULD NOT sin against His Fathers 4th command, for any reason that men in churches, seem to dream up, to honor their pagan Sun god.
Emperor Constantine, at the council of Nicia, change things, within Christianity, to unite his kingdom, thus he made Sunday (Sun god day) the new Roman Sabbath day, and he closed the church doors on Saturday, and he forced our forefathers to worship on Sunday, or be imprisoned or killed. (When in Rome, do as the Roman’s do, or be killed).
Acts 5:29, “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey GOD, rather than me.”
Change is not easy, I do realize this…
There are Messianic Jewish (Messiah Believing) Congregations, which worship on HIS 7th Day of Rest.
