I experienced that the Creature was hiding behind juniper trees, about 70 yards from the house. Evidence is seeing red eyeshine, from an upright hominoid. These trees were a favorite because the thinner bark makes these trees better for knocking. Thus, I cut them down.

Waiting to see what to do with the other things that can be used for cover including other tree variations, and man-made objects.
Clearing trees, is not what we want of course, but it does reduce the cover for the harasser.
