If you do propose this plan, use green and not red in case red promotes anger. The goal is to mess with their own night vision ability by shining it in their eyes; thus, they will try to get away from you.
Go out at night only if you have to, and yes take your laser light. I don’t recommend looking for Bigfoot at night, because they have the advantage on you. So now we are back to “What Not to Do.”
